Well, this past Friday we found out we are having a little BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a total surprise I wasn't scheduled to find out but thought hey Heath is with me so I will just ask and maybe she will sneak us on in. The doctor was totally cool with it.
The name is Hughes Heath Hamrick. A little background - Heath's name is three H's, his dad's name is three H's, his grandpa was three H's. So, in other words I could not marry Heath unless I agreed that one day if I had a boy, I would use three H's. Hughes is my grandmother's maiden name and it is a little obvious where we got Heath. I don't know at this point what we will call him Hughes or Hugh. My sister is planning on calling him Trip for triple H. It too is cute we will just see what I think he might like when he gets here.
We are super excited he is healthy everything looks great. I have gone through a little grieving about not seeing Ava's clothes again, the dreams of matching smocked dresses, bows, all things girl. But oh well, I now have to think - khacki's, jeans, polos and sweater vests and blue, blue, blue!!!! Nuts, I still can't wrap my mind around it sometimes.

That is SOOOO exciting!! Congratulations - boys are FUN!!
Hey guys, that is exciting. Just ask any of the West clan - we know how to do boys!
Very exciting. Congrats!
HOW FUN!!!!!! You will love having a boy just as much as having a girl. They are different, but that makes the memories more special (and easier to remember who did what! HA)
I dated a guy who was a "3rd" He had the same name as his grandfather and father. They called the dad Jr. and called the guy I dated (the 3rd) "Trey". You could do that for the 3 H's.
Again, congrats! So glad to hear things are going well.
Can't wait to meet Hughes! So glad to hear that you all are doing well!
Love it, love it, love it!!! I love his name and can't wait to see pics when he is here :). Thanks for your email this week~ I promis to respond soon....hugs and love, KJS
How exciting! Congratulations!

Yea for a boy! I love having a boy - I think you will too. I remember being sad that I wouldn't be able to do all the dressing up, but it can be fun with boys too. Sometimes it is hard to find more than just play clothes for boys. (I still don't know why you can find a dress for a girl any time of year, but you have to SEARCH for a pair of slacks for a boy!) My advice is stock up on dress clothes at Easter and Christmas. That is when it is easiest to find. I love putting Maddox in his ties and suit coats for Sunday...I do it while I can - not sure how long it will last! Congratulations!
